As the property market in Northern Ireland continues to thrive, and the increased demand pushes up property prices, more and more homeowners are taking advantage and remortgaging to free up capital.

The mortgage guarantee scheme, which runs until December 2022, is available to current homeowners and first-time buyers purchasing properties up the value of £600,000, and provides a guarantee to lenders who offer mortgages to people with a deposit of just 5%.
