Chris Ross, Managing Partner of McKees said: “It has been a testing time for students, particularly those who graduated last summer having faced the increased pressure of remote learning as well as the extraordinary exam conditions.  However, we are encouraging young people to look to the future and the opportunities that are available to them in the legal sector.

At McKees, our people are our best asset and we value the importance of supporting the future talent of our profession.  As part of this commitment, we are pleased to invite applications for our 2021 Trainee Solicitor Programme and look forward to providing support and guidance to the successful applicants. Each trainee will have a supervising Partner to mentor them and they will work together to create a bespoke training plan to ensure he or she gets the most out of the learning and development programme.”

“It’s very much a hands-on programme and the training and development of each individual is enhanced with regular internal training sessions and seminars involving the lawyers across all levels of our firm, from newly qualified solicitors to Senior Partners to ensure each trainee has access to some of the best legal minds in Northern Ireland,” Chris added.
