Our Experience

These services are fundamental to a full-service legal offering. We place considerable emphasis on providing a timely and pragmatic partner-led service.

Historically, the team has had many longstanding family and individuals clients. This already strong client base continues to expand through recommendations and referrals, testament of our expertise and commitment to excellence in servicing our clients’ needs.

Our Team is led by Anne Wilson, who has many years of practice in this sphere. This illustrates the importance which we attach to one of our core practice areas and the strength and depth of experience that we bring to the work.

Our Understanding

Often the matters on which clients consult us – e.g. putting in place protection and succession planning arrangements – are among the most important things they will do during their lifetime. We listen and take the time to understand your needs. Our team are well placed to advise you on making a Will or creating a Trust so that the financial and other needs of your family and loved ones are taken care of.

Frequently, we assist clients in very trying circumstances – during the incapacity of a loved one or at a time of bereavement. We strive to act sensitively and supportively towards clients at these times. We understand that when a loved one dies it is a difficult time for family and friends. We make the administration of estates as straightforward as possible and are always on hand to offer assistance throughout the process.

Our team has developed strong working relationships with accountants and specialist tax and financial advisers. We are used to partnering, and working collaboratively with, such advisers to ensure that our clients have all necessary advice to enable them to make informed decisions on their personal and business protection and succession planning.

Our Value Add

The firm is pleased to participate annually each November in the Will Aid scheme. Will Aid is a special partnership between the legal profession and a number of UK charities. Every November, we as a firm waive our fees for writing a basic Will, instead inviting our clients to make a voluntary donation to Will Aid.
