Donald Thompson

Donald heads our Commercial Property team and provides Real Estate advice to our Banking team.

Donald practices in England, Wales and in Northern Ireland.

Donald has acted on behalf of various banks, including Bank of Ireland, AIB, Ulster Bank, Santander, NAMA and others in secured lending matters. Donald has considerable experience in the care home sector acting for both operators and developers of care homes.

He is also retained by the owners of a number of shopping centres in England and Wales to provide advice on landlord and tenant matters and also on acquisition and disposal issues. Recent key projects include: acquisition of a landmark building in Belfast City Centre; sale of two shopping centres in England. Donald employs a commercial and pragmatic approach to matters always seeking to understand the clients desired outcome and achieve this result as swiftly as possible.
